The opening concert of the 2018-2019 season was given by Mt. Vernon Virtuosi, a group recently formed by cellist Amit Peled, a great friend to the Evensong Series. His goal in founding the ensemble is to give recently graduated students a platform to continue their musical journey while preparing for professional orchestra auditions. Their concert on September 22 was a great beginning to the series and we look forward to their concerts on December 29, and May 11, 2019.
