Alexander Kobrin, piano

Beethoven Sonatas, Op. 109, 100, 111

Russian pianist Alexander Kobrin returned to continue his exploration of the Beethoven piano sonatas. He performed the final three sonatas composed by Beethoven, Opuses 109, 110, and 111, playing them as a continuous set with no breaks. It was a moving meditation, from the pen of a composer in his last years of life and work. We wish Mr. Kobrin the best for his ongoing project to record the complete Sonatas of Beethoven and look forward to the recording's release.
